Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Manager (Addiction Services) will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the addiction services unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of nurses and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Utilizing expertise in addiction counseling to provide guidance and support to patients
- Supervising and coordinating patient treatment plans, including medication management and therapy sessions
- Implementing and maintaining EMR and EHR systems to accurately document patient information
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in addiction treatment
- Providing leadership and mentorship to staff members to promote a positive work environment
- Utilizing management skills to optimize workflow and resource allocation within the unit
- Participating in continuous education and training to stay current on addiction treatment practices and trends
